well, I really like this guy. But 1 1/2 seasons is a long time for an experienced driver like him. I don't think he has it in him to do well in F1. "Go back to the US Seb.. that type of racing suits u better."

How is this guy supposed to perform while during his complete F1 career the rumor is that he will be axed. I know it's old news but he was very competitive to Vettel in the STR2. As he stated himself, the STR3 (and i guess the STR4 to some extend too) didn't suit his driving style. STR's team boss isn't really a nice man. This guys really likes to blame the drivers (Liuzzi & Speed anyone?). As already stated a couple times, the sooner Bourdais leaves STR, the better for his career.

The "Axeee" is always the last to know, lets hear from the "Axer" before this is news.

marki73, to be fair, he has beaten his team mate just as many times as his team mate has beaten him (this year).

Give him a Brawn test, I bet he'd surprise.

There are two many Sabastians anyway. Having 2 Sebs on one team is silly enough.

I had hopes for SeaBass, being that he was coming from Champ Car and it was good to see a driver from an American open-wheel series go to F1, but he has been outperformed by Vettel & Buemi and his excuse everytime is the car doesn't fit his driving style. ADAPT FRENCHY!! Otherwise raise your white flag and surrender.

Come on if you got axed for letting your younger team mate outshine you. then there should be a whole lot of people that should be looking for new work. Or at least a new ride that is.

Don't care what happens in Torro Rosso really.

Bourdais' results un-mask US open-wheel racing as an irrelevance. Racing in the US is the worst thing that Bourdais could have done - ruined his promising career with five seasons with no competition.

'SeaBass' is a great driver. He is a 4-time consecutive champion of the Champ Car World Series with 31 wins, 39 podiums, and 27 poles. He also has won at least one IROC (International Race of Champions - basically a NASCAR style spec. series...that no longer exists.) race at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. In that IROC race he beat NASCAR veterans and open wheel veterans alike that have raced at the circuit (Both NASCAR and Indy Car hold events at this track...Champ Car never did). He is a fast driver, and has had several bright spots with his F1 team only to be spoiled by reliability. However, I think he needs to switch teams. Toro Rosso's history with F1 drivers is not that great, I don't think they have the right chemistry. When Vettel came to Toro Rosso, everybody knew he wasn't going to be there for long. It was really only an interim race seat for him. Bourdais' situation is different. I'd like to see him in a better car with a more competent race team, ideally Williams or Renault F1. Possibly even Force India depending on how they progress this season. Such teams, especially the former, have proven race winning and championship winning experience...which Toro Rosso is still basically Minardi submitting to RedBull Renault.

While "Sea Bass" as he's known here in the USA has not shown in F1 what he showed while dominating ChampCar over here, he's an exceptional driver, and one has to take into consideration that the two types of cars resemble each other only in that they are open wheel cars with wings...Other than that, The ChampCar is VERY different from an F1 car...I hope thet Toro Roso give him a bt more time in the car...

Unless Bourdais does something stupid, like lose his temper and start yelling at the team principal, I don't see Toro Roso firing him during the season.

Maybe he'll try NASCAR next! He's already had a go at IndyCar...

give bourdais the chance to race until car gets new double diffusor and you will see that he will be much faster than buemi. if you send him away now just let him go to renault and take piquet and you will see the difference. just now the toro rosso is ot competitive enouhgt so nothing to expect about this car.

Well according to James Allen this will be Bourdais last race with Toro Rosso and he will be replaced by reserve driver Jaime Alguersuari.

The writting is on the wall Seb,you've had your chance to prove that you can 'cut the metal' in F1,and you have been outpaced by your new team mate who is in his 1st season in the sport..enough seid.
