The economy continues to shed jobs. Lots of people have become "redundant" this year. Yet a person with his skills, and the rare ability to design a race winning F1 car, should not lose their job for that reason alone. There is something more here.

The new teams will be busy poaching talent where possible. Can't see Red Bull being a (really) long term opportunity for anyone anyway. They are a drinks company. They will get bored eventually.

seems a bit strange to loose your technical director, just as your cars are getting race victories. I wonder wich German will take his place, maybe Red Bull are getting ready to use a German engine from BMW, or are VW, Audi going to enter????
