Martin Whitmarsh has complete faith that Lewis Hamilton's Abu Dhabi victory will spur him on to "greater" things.
The McLaren driver has suffered his worst season in F1, his words, this year, slumping to fifth in the Drivers' Championship after claiming just three race victories.
With more time spent with the stewards than the celebratory champagne, Hamilton's form led to a great many questions about his mental strength.
However, his team boss Whitmarsh is adamant that the Brit's most recent win, which came two weeks ago at the Yas Marina circuit, is a sign that he is back on song.
"His win in Abu Dhabi was a great recovery from where he has been in the last few months, and he can do greater things than this," said Whitmarsh.
"There is no reason in my mind why he cannot now raise himself to another level.
"You could see in Abu Dhabi he was pretty happy with his win there, which should enable him to drive with greater confidence and attack that little bit extra."
Hamilton's Abu Dhabi win saw him equal his team-mate Jenson Button's tally of three for the season, however, Whitmarsh is hoping at least one of his drivers can bag a fourth at the season finale in Brazil.
"With one more race to go, if we can win that then it will be a half-reasonable season," he said.
"We're keen to take our seventh win this year. Lewis and Jenson have scored three wins apiece and each are equally motivated to take their fourth.
"From a team management perspective, that's an excellent position for us to be in."
