Force India set to reveal line-up

Another piece of the 2012 puzzle will be completed this week when Force India unveil their driver line-up.

Incumbents Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta as well as third and reserve driver Nico Hulkenberg are the three men battling it out for the two race seats.

Although team co-owner Vijay Mallya refused to give an exact day, many believe the announcement will be made on Thursday.

"I can't confirm (an exact) date, but next week is the date that was originally mentioned by Dr. Mallya," a Force India spokesperson told GPUpdate.net.

The Silverstone-based squad's vice-principal Rob Fearnley admitted recently that the announcement was being held up by a few issues.

"There are a number of things holding it up," said Fearnley.

"Obviously, it is only fair we deal with the drivers. We have three very talented drivers and we need to make sure the one who is going to be disappointed has the best opportunity to position himself.

"If you remember, he (Mallya) said 15 December. That would be consistent with what he has always projected. I'm sure that's the date he's always set."
