Bernie's money is on Vettel

Bernie's money is on Vettel

Although he believes both drivers deserve the title, Bernie Ecclestone's money is on Sebastian Vettel to beat Fernando Alonso.

The duo head into Sunday's title showdown in Brazil with Vettel holding a 13-point advantage over the Ferrari driver.

That means all he needs to do is finish fourth or higher and will become Formula One's youngest triple World Champion.

"I'd say Sebastian," was Ecclestone's response when asked by SID who he would put his money on.

But while the F1 supremo believes Vettel will win the title, he reckons both drivers are worthy Champions.

"Sebastian on the basis of his results but Fernando hasn't had the best car for the majority of the time, that's why he deserves it too."
