HRT have named Spanish company Ermestel as their official IT partner, continuing the increase the Spanish influence withing the team..
The team are currently struggling to maintain a fine balancing act between becoming more competitive and making good financial decisions. In line with this, HRT have identified information technology as being a key area in which they can improve and as such have enlisted the help of Ermestel who specialise in data infrastructure transformation based on technologies such as Virtualization and Cloud Computing.
"In a sport that is extremely competitive and demanding as is Formula 1, everything has to work quickly and to perfection," explained HRT team principal Luis Pérez-Sala.
