Mark Webber concedes his 11th place in qualifying for the Italian GP was "roughly" what he expected given Red Bull's lack of pace.
The reigning World Champions have struggled throughout this weekend, finishing outside the top ten on Friday and again in Saturday's final practice.
It was more of the same for Webber in qualifying where the Australian dropped out in Q2, having fallen short with his 1:24.809.
"No massive surprise, that's roughly where we thought we'd be and where we ended up," the Australian said.
"We've got work to do."
However, Webber, who is third in the Drivers' Championship. 32 points behind Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, insists he was "pretty happy with my lap."
