Rosberg in the hunt for stolen helmet

Nico Rosberg has put out a plea for people to help him find a helmet that was stolen at the German Grand Prix.

The Mercedes driver's Schuberth helmet was swiped from the back of the Mercedes garage at the Nurburgring with the thief caught on camera.

Publishing photos from the FIA camera on his personal website, a man is clearly seen at the back of the Mercedes garage taking the helmet off the shelf.

Rosberg put out a plea asking people for their help in getting his helmet back.

'Hi everyone,

'My race helmet got stolen out of the security guarded team's garage at Nürburgring GP on Sunday at 1:51 a.m. Check the FIA picture of the thief.

'Let us know if any of you see one on ebay or somewhere else. I have never given out an original race helmet so if you see one then let us know. Thanks.

'Nico'

Releasing details about the helmet, the Merc driver stated that the Schuberth helmet was registered with the Number R-NR 074/02-13. The SNELL-Label is ST 270141. FIA label gold: AH04248. FIA Label white: Nr. 134.
