Force India team principal Vijay Mallya has heaped praise on Valtteri Bottas, calling the Williams driver "the star of the season".
In only his second year on the Formula One grid, Bottas secured three podiums in a row in Austria, Britain and Germany to find himself fifth in the Drivers' Championship with a handy 55-point gap to his team-mate Felipe Massa.
And the Finn has clearly left a good impression on the opposition team boss Mallya, whose Force India squad are behind Williams in the standings.
"There can be no two opinions that Bottas has been the star of the season so far," the Indian told Autosport.
"Here you have the great Massa, and here you have a guy who's come out of GP3, and the first thing that comes to your mind is that he's going to be half a second behind.
"He's shocked everybody and is doing a fantastic job under pressure.
"Not only does he have the killer instinct but also the maturity not to get flustered."
Daniel Ricciardo is another driver who has done well this campaign with the Australian claiming two wins in his debut season with Red Bull to outshine team-mate and four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel.
"Daniel Ricciardo [has also been] very impressive," Mallya added.
"I think even Red Bull are wondering what's going on."
