Montreal marshals to pay respect

The Canadian GP marshals have confirmed that they will wear black armbands to remember Mark Robinson who was killed last year.

38-year-old Robinson died from internal injuries after he was run over by a recovery vehicle that was clearing away Esteban Gutierrez's Sauber in the wake of Sebastian Vettel's victory.

In remembrance this year's Montreal marshals will all wear black armbands over the three days.

Meanwhile, Gutierrez has revealed that Sauber may not follow suit.

"What happened after the race was not very pleasant," said the Mexican driver.

"At the moment we don't have anything planned. We did something last year, which was a bad time for the family.

"People relate it directly to me because it was my car, but it was about the whole procedure of the security system.

"It was not only about one team, one driver. It was about the whole of Formula One."

Ahead of this year's Canadian Grand Prix all the marshals have undergone extensive training when it comes to the use of recovery vehicles such as cranes.
