Bernie wants Schumi in a Bull

Bernie Ecclestone reckons Michael Schumacher should replace Mark Webber next season and go head-to-head with Sebastian Vettel.

The seven-time World Champ has one season remaining in his Mercedes contract, although there are reports that he could extend his stay for another year.

However, rather than remain where he is, Ecclestone says he would love to the see the seven-time World Champ head over to Red Bull where he would not only drive a winning car but also take on a fellow World Champion.

"I'm just saying it would be nice to see him (Schumacher) in the car where you know that if he doesn't win, it's his fault and not the car's," the 81-year-old told Sky Sports.

"I'd like to see him in a good car.

"I'd like to see him in the second Red Bull. I don't think Sebastian would mind."
