BBC confirms 10 races for 2013

The BBC has confirmed its live coverage plans for Formula One races for 2013 with the broadcaster once again showing 10 races.

As was the case in 2012, the Beeb will not show the opening two races of the year in Australia and Malaysia with the first live race the Chinese Grand Prix on the weekend of April 14.

Spain also remains on the list of races, but the Monaco Grand Prix, widely considered to be one of the sport's most prestigious events, doesn't feature with the Canadian race taking its slot.

The yet to be announced European race on July 21 is also among the races that will be shown as is the Indian GP.
