Shortly after his management denied a deal had been done with Marussia, Luiz Razia announced he had signed with the team.
Marussia are yet to officially confirm who will partner Max Chilton this season, but Razia has claimed ownership of the team's second race-seat.
"The process was a bit long and very distressing," Razia wrote on his official website, "Until this time we had nothing, [but] we managed to close a deal at the last minute.
"The important thing is that I have got something that I've worked for for eleven years and it really is the fulfilment of a dream for me, worth more than anything else."
