Button: Several complaints over Perez

Button: Several complaints over Perez

Jenson Button has warned that Sergio Perez is "too aggressive" and says he's not the only one who feels that way while the Mexican says his team-mate was just as bad.

McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh endured several nervous moments on the pitwall at the Bahrain Grand Prix as his two drivers went head-to-head on a number of occasions.

The duo made contact at least once and a part of Perez's front-wing endplate went flying off the car on lap 30, but the Mexican ended up finishing P6 with Button claiming one point after being forced to make a fourth stop late in the race.

Button, though, wasn't happy with his team-mate after the race, telling Sky Sports that the 23-year-old is "too aggressive".

"I was very vocal on the radio, emotions were running high, but I would say exactly the same again," he said.

"The racing was great out there. The only person that wasn't was Checo [Perez].

"He was too aggressive, I would say. At 300 km/h, you don't expect your team-mate to come alongside you and bang wheels with you. It was a bit of a surprise, and I'm probably not the only one that feels like that."

Perez, meanwhile, admits he took his aggression too far, but believes Button was also a bit naughty.

"I was as aggressive as he was with me," he said. It was probably, too much. It's something we have to speak about."
