Kamui crashes in demo run

Kamui Kobayashi's Moscow demo run for Ferrari came to a smashing end when he put the F60 into the barriers.

In action for Ferrari at Sunday's Moscow City Racing demonstration event, Kobayashi was putting in runs with the Kremlin and St Basil's Cathedral as the backdrop.

However, impressing the crowds on the wet asphalt, the Japanese driver lost control of the car and hit the barriers, losing one of the wheels.

"The track was very slippery and there was a marked bump at that point, which is why I hit the barrier," he told Reuters.

"A shame, but I am pleased the team let me out again after a few minutes."

Ferrari thankfully brought a second car to the event.
