Red Bull tweak tech department

Red Bull have been forced to make a change to their technical department following the departure of two key personnel to Mercedes.

Pierre Wache, who has been chief engineer of car performance since joining from Sauber earlier this year, has been promoted to head of vehicle dynamics with immediate effect.

The defending champions have made the shuffle after it was confirmed earlier this week that Giles Wood and Mark Ellis will join Mercedes next year.

"The team would like to thank Mark Ellis and Giles Wood for their contribution and wish them well for the future," the Milton Keynes squad said in a statement.
