Lewis Hamilton has cleared the air with Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, declaring they are "still" friends.
A week ago the relationship between the two title protagonists broke down when Rosberg beat Hamilton to pole position in Monaco in questioning circumstances.
A day later the German claimed the victory, ending Hamilton's four-race winning streak. He also retook the lead in the Drivers' Championship.
Frustrated with the situation, Hamilton told Sky Sports F1: "We are not friends, we are colleagues."
Mercedes subsequently spent the week trying to down play suggestions of the feud, insisting that the drivers will work through it.
That is exactly what they have done.
Hamilton has spoken with Rosberg, who he has known since his early days in racing, and has cleared the air with the German.
"We've been friends a long time & as friends we have our ups & downs. Today we spoke & we're cool, still friend," he tweeted.
