'Not much difference under Mattiacci'

Despite changing team bosses earlier this season, Fernando Alonso says there is "not much" difference under Marco Mattiacci's reign.

Following a sluggish start to this season and a dismal showing in Bahrain, then Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali fell on his sword.

Shortly after Ferrari announced that North American CEO Mattiacci would take up the position.

But, having spent a month under Mattiacci's reign, Alonso says very little has changed.

"Not much to be honest, and I don't think it's going to happen soon," he said when asked about any differences.

"He's still learning about the team situation, about the Formula One environment and Formula One weekends.

"At the factory there are a lot of things to learn, where you need to gain experience before making any decisions at the moment he will not take.

"For the drivers, engineers or mechanics trackside, we attend races, we have the same meetings at the same times, we still have the same free practice at the same time, and we don't see any big difference.

"When I go to Maranello to work, to have some meetings, to prepare, to run in the simulator, in all these areas there is still no change this last month.

"As I said, it was probably not expected to have any change in the first month because he does not have the experience yet."
