Seb: No problem with Webber re-signing

Sebastian Vettel says he would welcome Mark Webber re-signing with Red Bull as, while they aren't "best friends", they do work well together.

Webber has yet to commit his future to Red Bull Racing with rumours linking the Australian to a one-year deal with rivals Ferrari before hanging up his helmet at the end of 2013.

But for now Webber is not even hinting at where his future may lie despite his team boss Christian Horner saying he expects when the time comes the Aussie will agree a one-year extension with Red Bull.

And Horner isn't the only member of Red Bull who wants Webber to stay on.

"I can understand why people are thinking that there is a problem between Mark and myself," his team-mate Vettel told Autosport.

"Yes, we might not be best friends, but I have no problem with him and he has no problem with me.

"We work well together and we are both trying to pull the team in the same direction. We have a similar view for the car, it's not as if one likes the set-up in the opposite way to the other.

"I think that is helping us, and so far it is working quite well. I'm not sure of his contract, but at the moment I think he is doing a very good job."

The German, though, was quick to point out that is it not his decision.

"It's Christian's call and the team's call, not my call. I could say what I would like but I don't know if that would be taken into account."
