Webber facing 'double whammy'

Mark Webber admits he may have to start the Chinese GP from the back of the grid due to a fuel issue in qualifying.

The Aussie had been running in eighth place during Q2 when he suddenly pulled over and parked his RB9.

It was immediately confirmed that it was a fuel problem, which could result in Webber being sent to the back of the grid if he doesn't have enough for the post-qualifying FIA test.

"It was a lack of fuel pressure so I couldn't get back, so we stopped the car and qualifying was over before it started really," he said.

"We'll see what the rules are. I'm sure we'll go through the process. It may be a double whammy."

And although it was pointed out that - "on the bright side" - he had saved tyres, Webber, who will finished up P14, didn't really see the light.

"I think everyone's in a similar boat saving tyres. The option is not really our tyre for this track.

"It's disappointing, Q1 went very well, I felt good in the car and felt good all weekend."
