Webber: Need to work on the balance

Mark Webber is hopeful of recovering from his grid penalty in Korea but concedes he needs better balance.

When all is said and done after Saturday's qualifying, Webber will start the Korean Grand Prix 10 places behind his qualifying position after incurring a grid penalty.

He was hit with the penalty after being reprimanded - his third of the season - for running across the track to catch a lift with Fernando Alonso in the wake of the Singapore GP.

Webber, though, can take some comfort from the fact that Red Bull are looking strong this weekend at the Korean International Circuit.

He finished Friday's practice fourth on the timesheets, just 0.171s down on pace-setter Lewis Hamilton.

"We need to work on the balance; it's more about understanding the tyres again and getting those working as well as possible," said the Aussie.

"We need to work on both the short and long run balance, as obviously I'm going to be out of position after qualifying.

"We need to have a car which can be strong in the first sector, so we can get some overtaking done."
