Force India are not worried about returning to Bahrain despite ongoing protests and the memory of last year's petrol bomb attack.
Last season, four members of the Force India team were caught up in a petrol bomb attack that resulted in two heading home, fearing for their safety.
It also led to the team missing the final practice on Friday in order to team personnel to return to their hotel before dark fell.
But despite that memory and ongoing protests in the island kingdom, deputy team principal Bob Fernley is confident of his team's safety.
"There are bound to be incidents, but ours was just one of those unfortunately things last year and it just got blown out of all proportion," Fernley told Autosport.
"I can't see any issues this year. There will be something, but it will be relatively minor I would think and hopefully not with Force India."
