Kimi Raikkonen was unfazed after losing track-time on Wednesday morning when his E21 needed a new gearbox.
The Finn failed to set a time on Wednesday morning while amassing just four laps due to a gearbox issue.
With the problem resolved, the 2007 World Champion was able to run in the afternoon where he added another 39 laps to his tally and set the third fastest time. Raikkonen's best was a 1:22.697, just 0.849s short of pace-setter Sergio Perez.
Wednesday's problem, though, was not the first this week for Raikkonen as a data issue cost him track-time on Tuesday.
However, the Lotus driver wasn't too fazed.
"We want to do laps and of course we want to run the programmes that we planned but sometimes you can, sometimes not, it's normal in tests," he said.
"Do we need [more laps]? Yes it's good, but it's not like if we cannot manage to run 150 laps it's going to change our season.
"So we'll try to do more laps. Sure we want to do race distances, but we'll see what happens in the next two days."
Raikkonen will hand the E21 over to team-mate Romain Grosjean for the final two days at the Circuit de Catalunya.
