Nico Hulkenberg has found adjusting to life at Sauber to be a tight squeeze, especially for his feet.

The 6'1 German has swapped from Force India to Sauber for this season and made his debut for his new team at last week's Jerez test.

However, it appears the fit has not been all that comfortable.

"My toes bump into the tight cockpit when I touch the pedals," Hulkenberg told the Bild.

In order to solve the problem, the 25-year-old says he has "cut" the heels of his racing boots as "this gives us some space."
