Nico Hulkenberg will see some action at next week's Young Driver Test at Silverstone.
The FIA's decision to open up the test to race drivers in order for them to sample Pirelli's new tyres has seen quite a few teams include regular drivers and Sauber have opted to make full use of the opportunity.
Hulkenberg will line up alongside reserve driver Robin Frijns and Kimiya Sato in the July 17-19 test.
The German will be behind the wheel of the C32 on the Thursday afternoon with reigning Formula Renault 3.5 champion Frijns in action on the morning as well as on the Wednesday. Japanese rider Sato will take over on the Friday.
Sauber have also confirmed they will run a "new upgrade package" during the test.
