'Wolff to replace Haug'

'Wolff to replace Haug'

Toto Wolff is reportedly poised to replace Norbert Haug as Mercedes' head of motorsport.

Wolff is currently an integral part of the Williams F1 where he is not only the executive director but also a key shareholder.

Added to that the 41-year-old is also believed to be in line to replace Sir Frank Williams when the Williams co-founder and team principal steps down.

However, it appears as if Wolff's career could be in for a massive change as the Bild claims he's off to Mercedes.

The German publication reports that Wolff is being lined up to replace Haug and will take on the German's former responsibilities within the company.

Those include roles in both Formula One and DTM with Wolff already a shareholder in HWA GmbH, the company that prepares Mercedes' DTM cars.

Neither Williams nor Mercedes have commented on the report with Bild adding that an announcement could come as early as Tuesday's DTM test at the Valencia circuit.
