Rosberg: Dear team-mate decided to box

Nico Rosberg has blamed Lewis Hamilton for the mix up in the pits in FP2 but admits it didn't hamper his programme.

Hamilton pitted near the end of Friday's second practice for the German GP only for Rosberg to come in moments later.

The German, though, was the one who was supposed to pit but instead found himself waiting for his team-mate while his brakes began to overheat.

With notable smoke coming from his brakes, Rosberg finally made his way in and continued his afternoon's action without any major issues.

He later revealed that Hamilton had caused the confusion as he pitted without warning the team.

"My dear team-mate decided to box without any warning so that put us all into a bit of a mess," said Rosberg.

Asked if he would have a talk with Hamilton about what happened, he replied: "No, it's not for me to discuss that and anyway it didn't hamper my programme, it was just a bit of a longer wait and that's it."
