Alonso, Hamilton summoned by stewards

Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton have been summoned to appear before the race stewards following their collision at the Malaysian Grand Prix.

The Spaniard was challenging the McLaren driver for the final podium position when they made contact on lap 46.

Alonso got too close to Hamilton's MP4-26 and his left-front wing touched Hamilton's right-rear wheel. Both were forced to make an extra pit stop.

The Ferrari driver eventually finished in sixth while Hamilton had to settle for seventh.
