Mark Webber was once again disappointed with his own performance in qualifying as, yet again, he failed to take the fight to Seb Vettel.

The Aussie has struggled this season to match Vettel's accomplishments. Only twice has he beaten his German team-mate in qualifying while Sunday's have yielded little joy with Webber still searching for his first race win.

And it was more of the same under the lights in Abu Dhabi on Saturday when Vettel claimed pole position, his 14th of the campaign, while Webber could only manage fourth place, also losing out to the two McLarens.

"It's all right but I'm disappointed with my last run," Webber, who was 0.377s off the pace, told the BBC.

"It was scrappy and we needed to communicate a little bit better on things we were trying to manage.

"In the end, we were disappointed with the last lap and there was certainly more there."

As for Sunday's 55-lap Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the 35-year-old, who lost the World title to Vettel here last season after failing to overtake those in front of him, is expecting more of the same despite the FIA including a double DRS zone this season.

"I don't know how exciting the race is going to be in terms of overtaking as the track is hard to pass on but we'll see how using the DRS goes."
