Schumi's condition remains unchanged

Michael Schumacher is still going through the waking up phase, according to the latest statement from his management.

At the end of January doctors began the process of bringing Schumacher out of a medically induced coma.

At the time it was made clear that the process could take a while and weeks later the 45-year-old remains in the Grenoble Hospital in France.

A new statement released by his management on Friday read: "Michael is still in the wake up phase. The situation has not changed.

"Any medical information published which is not confirmed by the team of doctors treating Michael or his management has to be considered as not valid."

Schumacher was placed in a coma after suffering severe head trauma in a skiing accident in December.
