Reports: Heidfeld gets the boot

Reports: Heidfeld gets the boot

According to BBC pundit Eddie Jordan, Bruno Senna will replace Nick Heidfeld at this weekend's Belgian GP.

Renault have not been shy in criticising Heidfeld's performances since he replaced the injured Robert Kubica at the beginning of the season.

The German finished third in the second race of the season but has only scored five points since the beginning of June.

The team's patience with Heidfeld seems to have now run out, with Jordan - for whom Heidfeld has raced for in the past - revealing that Senna will get a run at Spa.

Renault refused to comment on the situation late on Monday.
