Barrichello promises quick decision

Rubens Barrichello insists he will not take too much time deciding his next move - whether it be to IndyCar or to remain in F1.

Having been dropped by Williams, Barrichello's Formula One career looks set to come to an end after 19 seasons but the Brazilian has not yet given up hope of securing a drive.

However, he is considering his options which include a possible move to the IndyCar Series and on Monday he performed a test with the KV Racing team.

The 39-year-old has now revealed that a decision on his future will be made soon.

"I don't know how things are going to move forward now," he told O Estado de S.Paulo.

"I have not spoken with (team co-owner) Jimmy Vasser about racing in the season.

"What is certain is that it (the speculation) will not last long.

"Whether I race or not will be known soon. There is a lot of work still to do and KV needs to know its driver."
