Stefano Domenicali has downplayed reports that Ferrari have signed an option with Robert Kubica for the 2013 F1 Championship.

Rumours in the paddock suggest that the Pole, should he return to Formula One, is Ferrari bound in 2013.

This prompted Renault team boss Eric Boullier to reveal that he won't help Kubica make a comeback from his injuries if he plans on leaving the team at the end of the Championship.

However, it remains to be seen whether Ferrari will assist the 26-year-old as this would be an indication that he has signed at option to replace Felipe Massa in 2013.

Asked by Autosport whether Ferrari could allow Kubica to use their facilities and test one of their cars, he said: "No. Not really.

"If you remember we are speaking about drivers for Ferrari since January of last year, so I think that maybe next week we come with the Valentino Rossi position!

"So, no."
