Yamamoto: I'll race to the very end

Sakon Yamamoto has revealed that he will continue with Hispania Racing until the end of this year's Championship.

Hispania surprised many in the paddock at the British GP when they called up test driver Yamamoto to replace regular racer Bruno Senna.

And although it was initially thought that it would be a one-off, at the next race in Germany, Yamamoto was once again behind the wheel, this time taking Karun Chandhok's race-seat.

The Japanese driver also competed for the team in Hungary and Belgium and has now revealed that he will continue to race in the final six events on this year's calendar.

"I will finish the season anyway," he told Formule1.nl. "Whether I will replace Bruno or Karun, I do not know. But it is certain that I will run all the races."

Yamamoto also insisted that his relationship with both Chandhok and Senna has not been hurt by Hispania's decision to allow him to race.

"My relationship with Bruno and Karun is fine. The team decides which of them will drive but my position is not in doubt."
