Jenson Button claimed only his second fastest lap of the season as he saw off the challenge from the Red Bulls with ease at the Turkish Grand Prix.
Before the Turkish GP, Red Bull boss Christian Horner said he just wanted a "straight fight in clean air with the Brawns".
Horner got his wish as Button went head-to-head with Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel during the race. However, the Red Bulls were not a match on Button's BGP 001 as he set fastest lap after fastest lap for most of the afternoon.
He eventually clocked his best time of 1:27.579 on lap 40. Vettel's fastest lap - set seven laps before the end of the race - was 0.043 slower than that of Button while Webber was almost two tenths of a second slower than his team-mate.
Toyota responded well after their disappointing performance in Monaco and Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock completed the top five. BMW also had one of their better afternoons of 2009 as Robert Kubica Kubica's 1:28.008 was the seventh fastest time.
The Ferraris were eighth and ninth fastest while Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen in their McLarens were only 15th and 18th in the standings for fastest lap times.
