Sergio Perez felt he was compromised "quite a lot" by his team-mate Esteban Ocon who were involved in yet another battle for position.
Ocon finished P8 and Perez in P9 to complete another double-points haul for Force India, but it was once a case of what could have been as the pair lost valuable time squabbling with each other when team orders may have helped maximise their performance at Silverstone.
"Ocon compromised my race quite a lot," said Perez to Sky Sports F1.
"We didn't get to show our true race pace and got beaten by Renault big time. Being always within Ocon's DRS by half a second damaged my tyres quite badly so it wasn't an ideal race.
"Everything was complicated, straight from the bad start I had."
Perez was then asked if he has anything to say to Force India in the debrief about how they should be approaching races.
He added: "No I don't think so. [Team orders] are not how it should be. Ocon did a better job than me and I got beaten today. That's it."
