Bernie Ecclestone may have let the cat out of the bag when he implied that Michael Schumacher is retiring end of this season.
As Schumacher celebrates his 300th grand prix in Belgium the question of 'how many more' has dogged the German.
And although the Mercedes driver said on Thursday he won't decide before October, it seems that decision has already been made.
Speaking to the BBC's Eddie Jordan ahead of Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix, Ecclestone said of Schumacher: "I'm sorry that he's leaving us not being a winner, because he is a winner."
Jordan was quick to jump on that asking: "Is he going to announce his retirement?"
That was met with a quick "I don't know, I don't know" from Ecclestone.
