Red Bull have revealed they will only make a decision on Mark Webber's replacement at a later stage.

Sebastian Vettel will have a new team-mate come the 2014 season after Webber confirmed on Thursday that he will quit Formula One at the end of the year to join up with Porsche's new sportscar programme.

Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen has been strongly linked with a move to the Milton Keynes squad in recent months, while the Toro Rosso duo of Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne have also been tipped as possible Red Bull drivers.

Fans, though, shouldn't expect an announcement any time soon with Red Bull confirming in a statement: "The decision on who will replace Webber will not be made until later in the season."

Meanwhile, team principal Christian Horner said: "I am sure Mark thought long and hard before making what has no doubt been a very difficult decision.

"His achievements in Formula One are extensive and I am sure he will continue to push hard and build on that record until the end of the season. We support Mark's decision, he has been an excellent addition to the team since joining us in 2007 and we wish him all the best in the next stages of his career."

With two British Grand Prix victories to his name already, Webber will be looking to make it a hat-trick of wins at Silverstone this weekend and you can bet on this and more at Paddy Power.
