Friday 17-January-2014 15:43

Michael Schumacher's manager has confirmed that the F1 legend's condition is "still considered as stable", but also cautioned people not to speculate over his health.

The seven-time World Champion has been in medically-induced coma at a Grenoble hospital since he suffered severe head injuries during a skiing accident in the French Alps on December 29.

His family has kept statements to a minimum in recent weeks, but his manager Sabine Kehm confirmed on Friday that the German's conditions is "stable".

There have several reports over the past few days speculating about Schumacher's long-term health, but Kehm urged everyone to only listen to official information from the family.

"Unfortunately I have to repeat that any information regarding Michael's health not coming from the doctors treating him or from his management must be treated as pure speculation," said Kehm.

"I also repeat that Michael's family is very happy and confident with the work of the team of doctors treating Michael, and they trust them completely. Michael's condition is still considered as stable."
