Wet weather test moved to Wednesday

The second day of the Jerez test will focus on wet weather testing, after it rained in Andalusia overnight.

The new Formula One regulations stipulate that at least one day of pre-season testing has to focus solely on wet weather testing.

The wet weather test was supposed to take place on Friday, but the plan had to be revised following the damp start to the session.

Tyre manufacturer Pirelli confirmed that the test has been brought forward and that the track will be artificially wetted during the day to ensure the optimal testing conditions.
