Sabine Kehm, Michael Schumacher's manager, has urged fans to ignore any news regarding the racing legend's condition that doesn't come directly from her or the doctors treating him.
According to report in the French media on Wednesday, the seven-time World Champion was on the verge of 'waking up' after he was put into a medically induced coma after he suffered critical head injuries during a December 29 ski accident.
Following the report, Kehm released a statement contradicting the claims.
"I am stressing again that any statement regarding Michael's health not coming from the doctors treating him or from his management must be considered as speculation," the statement read.
"I repeat that we will not comment any speculations."
