Grosjean eager to challenge the Bulls

Romain Grosjean has vowed to do "everything" he can to take the fight to Red Bull after losing out on Friday.

The Lotus driver was the nearest challenger to the Bulls in Friday's second practice where he finished third.

His 1:26.220 put him 0.498s behind pace-setter Sebastian Vettel while Mark Webber split the two in Red Bull's second 1-2 of the day.

Grosjean, though, is hoping to take the fight to the Bulls come Saturday's qualifying.

"That was a good start to the weekend," said the Frenchman, who was involved in a thrilling tussle with Vettel and Webber at the previous race in Japan.

"The car feels good and we made progress through the day to make it better.

"It's still a struggle to find grip here which can make things interesting as you find the limits, but the pace of our car relative to our rivals looks quite good.

"I'm hopeful of another solid day tomorrow which should give us another strong qualifying position if the evidence of today is anything to go by.

"We'll do everything we can to take the fight to Red Bull."
