Webber: Straight line speed is lacking

Mark Webber had very few complaints about his P4 on the Malaysian grid other than to acknowledge that Red Bull are lacking in straight line speed.

Having dominated last season's qualifying, this year Red Bull Racing have fallen behind McLaren while Mercedes and Lotus are also mixing it up at the front.

But while Webber lost out to all three teams last time out in Australia, in Malaysia on Saturday he at least edged the top Lotus driver and will line-up fourth on the grid.

"It's fantastically challenging and I'm looking forward to seeing how the race pans ou," the Australian told the BBC.

"We need to look at our straight-line performance. We know that the Mercedes are strong in a straight line.

"The car balance and performance was better than in Melbourne and we have a good race car.

"We know everyone will be struggling with tyres so we just have to be a little bit better."
