Sebastien Bourdais has been penalised five grid places for Sunday's Hungarian GP after impeding Nick Heidfeld in qualifying.
The German was furious with Bourdais after he was knocked out in Q1 due to being too slow. However, Heidfeld says it wasn't a lack of pace, it was because the Toro Rosso driver blocked him.
"Towards the end of the lap I had one car in front which was on an out lap. He saw me and accelerated," he said.
"He then overtook Sebastien Bourdais before the last corner, and then Sebastien was right in my way.
"I was hoping it was so obvious he would be penalised right away and I could still get into Q2."
Bourdais was, however, later penalised by the stewards who docked him five grid slots. That means he will be starting P19 in Hungary.
