Ross Brawn has claimed that Honda will retain both Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello for 2009 although no official confirm has come from the team.
In an interview with the official F1 website Brawn was asked for his thoughts on this year's silly season, which continues to link Fernando Alonso to Barrichello's race-seat.
Brawn, though, had little to say other than that Honda were concentrating on improving their car, rather than finalising their line-up for next season.
"Our priority is to sort the car out, because we believe with the drivers we have, if we produce a good car then they can produce from their side," he told formula1.com.
"So we are not looking at anything major on the driver side. Our main priority is the car."
However, asked rather bluntly if 'we will see the same two drivers in the car next season?' Brawn said: "Yes."
