Felipe Massa is determined to clinch his third successive Turkish GP victory when the F1 circus races in Istanbul this weekend.
Despite winning the Bahrain GP Massa has failed to get on level terms with his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, who has looked to be in a class of his own.
However, this weekend's Turkish GP should offer the Brazilian the chance to pull back some of the 11-point deficit to his team-mate as history has demonstrated Massa's ability at the Istanbul circuit.
The Ferrari driver has dominated the race for the past two seasons, winning the race from pole to flag on both occasions, and is hoping for a repeat performance this year.
"You do not need to be a mind-reader to work out what is my target for this weekend: I want to record a hat-trick of Turkish victories!" he said.
"It might be possible, but you can never be sure.
"At the last race, starting third on the grid, I was unable to win on a track where overtaking is very difficult.
"At the moment, I am enjoying a tough competition with Kimi and my second place in Spain was still a good result. But I will be trying everything to go one better this Sunday!"
The Brazilian is confident that, as they have done in the past, Ferrari have again produced a car that will suit the Istanbul track.
"I have to say that Istanbul Park is a fantastic track and I enjoy driving there a lot," he said.
"I think we have a good car in the F2008 and I feel it can be quite strong this coming weekend. There is every reason to think we can fight for the win."
