Mark Webber has downplayed Red Bull's pace, which saw both drivers finish in the top five in Friday's second practice session in Australia.
Webber led the way for much of the afternoon session before Lewis Hamilton put in a blinder to eclipse his time by 0.914s.
The Aussie still finished in second place ahead of Felipe Massa and Heikki Kovalainen while his team-mate David Coulthard clocked the fifth best time.
Webber, though, has downplayed the RB4's pace, saying the lap times were not a true reflection of where Red Bull will find themselves on the grid come Sunday afternoon.
"I think Friday we know it is important not to read too much into it," he told Autosport.
"It's not easy to get consistency, but I am pretty happy with the car. We did a good job, we didn't have any problems and are in good shape to get things ready for qualifying.
"We are not second quicker, we are still fighting at the back of the points I believe, but we will see what tomorrow brings."
