Less than a month after his win at the Canadian Grand Prix, Robert Kubica already appears to be the "forgotten" man in the chase for the World Championship.
The Pole lead the Standings after his maiden win in Montreal, but he has since slipped to fourth place after his rivals stepped up the pace.
However, he is just two points behind joint leaders Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa.
Kubica believes he is still in with a shout for the World Title as a lot can happen between now and November.
"The season still has a long way to go," he told the BMW website.
"There are still another nine races. A lot can happen in that time, particularly if races are held in tricky track conditions, like at Silverstone. There is still a lot of racing to be done."
Kubica, tough, insists he will only think about the Title if he is still in contention at the Brazilian Grand Prix.
"I still want to pick up as many points as possible every weekend, and get as much as possible out of the car. If you are still in with a chance of winning the Championship in the final race, then you can start to think about taking the Title. At the moment, however, I am taking it one race at a time."
