Sebastian Vettel has questioned the timing of the Safety Car in Shanghai, feeling it should have been called “half a minute sooner” as it took him out of the race.
Sebastian Vettel has said he appreciated the fact that Max Verstappen was quick to apologise for their collision, but warned that his age is now no excuse.
It was a point-less Sunday in Shanghai for Force India, Williams, Sauber and Bahrain stars, Toro Rosso.
Renault qualified best of the rest in China, whilst there were signs of improvement at Force India. Both McLaren cars knocked out in Q2.
Andy Green concedes that there is something fundamentally wrong with Force India’s VJM11, and it is a problem they’ve yet to make any inroads on.
