Williams may have signed Sergey Sirotkin and Robert Kubica but Renault are seeking a little pat on the back for their contribution toward their careers.
Having been “close” to a Formula 1 drive for a couple of years, Sergey Sirotkin is delighted to finally be making his F1 debut with Williams.
Although Robert Kubica failed to land a Williams race-seat, Paddy Lowe says the Pole deserve congratulations for coming this far.
It may not be the job he really wanted but Robert Kubica believes he can achieve “personal satisfaction and goals” in his new role as Williams’ reserve driver.
Lance Stroll is hoping for a close working relationship with Sergey Sirotkin, who will be his Williams team-mate for the 2018 season.
